To address these challenges, we introduced an AI-powered Virtual Healthcare Agent, an intelligent assistant integrated into the hospital’s website to streamline appointment management. The AI agent allows patients to book, reschedule, or cancel appointments at their convenience, eliminating long wait times and reducing manual errors. It intelligently manages doctor availability, preventing double bookings and optimizing scheduling for better resource utilization. Additionally, it sends automated reminders and notifications to ensure patients don’t miss their appointments, significantly reducing no-shows and last-minute cancellations. By automating these routine tasks, the AI agent has also alleviated the workload of hospital staff, allowing them to focus on providing better patient care.
